WSHA FoundationAbout the WSHA FoundationThe WSHA Foundation is a nonprofit entity created to enhance the discipline of communication sciences and disorders through student scholarships and research grants. The scholarships and grants benefit graduate students studying communication disorders offering financial assistance to complete their professional degree and provide services to those with communication disorders.
Donors may designate if their donation is applied to scholarship, research grant or be undesignated. Donors also may name a scholarship or research grant and determine the criteria of the recipient when $500 or more is donated within a year. Establishing a scholarship is the perfect way to honor a respected mentor, inspirational colleague or loved one. Our goal is to have 97% donations to the Foundation and interest earned from donations used to support scholarship and research grants. Since the establishment of the WSHA Foundation, Inc. in 2000, over $100,000 in scholarships and research grants have been awarded.
